Aurender NH10 – audiophile network switch with OCXO clock and linear power supply
The Aurender NH10 audiophile network switch addresses what most systems ignore: the network itself. Noise, jitter and electrical coupling between components degrade digital playback before the signal ever reaches your DAC or streamer. The NH10 eliminates all three — through a fully linear power supply, comprehensive galvanic isolation and an OCXO clock that holds everything to a single precise timebase.
Aurender NH10 audiophile network switch — OCXO clock and FPGA synchronisation
The NH10 runs an OCXO clock with frequency stability rated below 0.005 ppm — tighter than anything you will find in a standard network switch. FPGA synchronisation aligns all internal operations to a single master clock, removing timing discrepancies entirely. A BNC master clock input (10 MHz, 50 ohm) allows integration with an external reference clock such as the Aurender MC10 or MC20, pushing precision further still.
Galvanic isolation and noise suppression
Every RJ-45 port carries advanced filtering for signal purity. The optically isolated SFP ports deliver complete galvanic isolation, cutting electrical coupling between devices at the source. An LED off switch removes interference from port activity indicators — a small detail that matters in a system resolving enough to hear it.
Linear power supply and build quality
Every circuit in the NH10 runs from linear regulation only — no DC-to-DC converters, no switching noise. The precision-machined aluminium chassis adds mechanical stability and shielding against vibration and RF interference, contributing directly to a quieter operating environment.

Frequently asked questions about the Aurender NH10
Does an audiophile network switch actually make a difference?
A standard network switch introduces noise and jitter into the signal path — and in a resolving system, that is audible. The NH10 removes those artefacts through galvanic isolation, an OCXO clock and a fully linear power supply, giving your streamer or network player a cleaner foundation to work from.
Is the NH10 compatible with other Aurender components?
Yes — it works with the full Aurender range. Models with a double-isolated LAN port, such as the N20 or N50, connect to the filtered LAN1-2 ports for best results.
Can the NH10 be used with an external master clock?
Yes. The BNC master clock input accepts a 10 MHz reference signal from external clocks such as the Aurender MC10 or MC20, allowing you to lock the entire network to a single precision timebase.
