Aqua Acoustic Quality was founded in Milan in 2010 and takes a fundamentally different approach to digital-to-analogue conversion. Rather than relying on off-the-shelf sigma-delta chips, Aqua developed its own Optologic R2R technology: discrete resistor ladders driven by an FPGA circuit, with digital and analogue sections kept fully isolated from one another.

The result is an exceptionally pure, analogue-sounding presentation with no digital filters or oversampling. The product range includes the Formula xHD, La Scala MkIII, La Diva CD transport and the LinQ network player. Every device is built on a modular platform, allowing future upgrades without replacing the entire unit.

At Novus Audio in Kampen you can audition the full Aqua range and receive personal advice from our specialists.
