While conventional filters rely on coils and capacitors, all Audes models use galvanic isolation via custom-wound toroidal transformers. Therefore, your components are fully separated from mains-borne noise. Also, the dynamic restrictions common with passive filters are completely eliminated.
Since the output impedance is just 0.4 Ohm, even demanding amplifiers receive instant, unrestricted current. Because of this low impedance, high-dynamic passages are reproduced with full impact. Besides isolation, all models also include a built-in DC blocker, soft-start circuit and thermal protection as standard.
The range is divided into three series. First, the ST Series (Single Transformer) runs from the compact ST-500DC to the powerful ST-3000DC. Although the ST Series is the most accessible, the TT Series with the TT-1700DC and TT-3200DC goes further by providing two independent transformer groups. Finally, the flagship DT-3600DC (3300 + 300 VA) delivers the ultimate in isolation and headroom.
