The Cambridge Audio L/R M replace a full hi-fi system with a single, compact pair of speakers. Built-in StreamMagic streaming, an HDMI eARC input, and a phono input mean network sources, a television, and a turntable can all connect directly. Six finishes are available, therefore the L/R M suit a wide range of interiors. Above all, they combine genuine versatility with a confident, room-filling sound.

300 watts and an advanced 2.5-way driver array

Each speaker features Cambridge Audio's proprietary 28mm Torus tweeter, with a dual-radius aluminium dome, custom waveguide, phase ring, and rear chamber. Twin 4-inch mid/bass drivers are supported by two side-mounted 4.75-inch passive radiators, thereby delivering deep bass without a separate subwoofer. Total output of 300 watts (2× 150W Class D) produces a frequency response of 40Hz to 24kHz, consequently keeping the sound controlled and full-bodied even in larger rooms.

StreamMagic Gen 4, HDMI eARC, and a built-in phono stage

StreamMagic Gen 4 brings Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Amazon Music, Deezer, Roon Ready, UPnP, and Internet Radio over Ethernet or dual-band Wi-Fi, with AirPlay 2 and Google Cast covering multi-room playback. The HDMI eARC input connects directly to a television, while the built-in MM phono stage supports a turntable without an external phono preamp. USB-C audio, USB-A for media, and optical TOSLINK round out the connections, and an RCA subwoofer output allows for further expansion.

DynamEQ, room-optimisation tools, and EQ presets keep the sound balanced at any volume and in any position. A 64-bit DSP pipeline furthermore preserves fine detail with precise signal processing. The speakers connect via the supplied 5m USB-C cable and feature subtle underlit LED accents. Available in black, white, blue, orange, green, and walnut, the L/R M adapt to almost any room.
