Spatial PURE 15/18 Limited: open baffle, distilled
The Spatial PURE 15/18 Limited is the latest addition to Spatial Europe’s PURE series, hand-built in Ingolstadt. It is a box-free 2.5-way design for listeners who value scale and immediacy in equal measure.

What sets the Spatial PURE 15/18 apart
At its heart sits a 15-inch coaxial driver with a moving mass of under 55 grams, among the lowest in its class. The result is remarkably quick, unforced transient response.
A 1.75-inch compression driver at the centre of the coax creates a near point-source, giving a precise, three-dimensional stage. Below that, a low-crossed 18-inch woofer adds a relaxed, well-controlled foundation down to 30 Hz.
Why it matters
Without a cabinet, there are no box resonances to colour the sound. The soundstage extends well beyond the speakers themselves, and voices take on a tangible presence in the room.
The crossover is deliberately minimal, intervening only where it serves the music. With 94 dB sensitivity and an 8-ohm load, the PURE 15/18 is also an easy partner for valve amplifiers.
Spatial recommends its own Amp Nº 2 and Nº 3, developed with Audion, as well as the Thivan Labs 811 and 300B Anniversary.
