Since the output stage draws directly on the high-power MOSFET technology developed for the celebrated .8 series power amplifiers, the INT-250 consequently combines sheer power with the musicality and tonal richness that define the Pass Labs house sound.

Class AB with the soul of Class A

The INT-250 operates in Class AB — more efficient than the pure Class A INT-25 or INT-60, yet following the same minimalist signal path philosophy. As a result, it sounds dynamic and composed across the full power range, from the quietest pianissimo to the full dynamic sweep of a large orchestra. Furthermore, the volume control operates in 1 dB steps over 63 dB, thereby delivering exceptionally precise gain adjustment at any listening level.

The INT-250 excels with loudspeakers that demand high current — large floorstanders, electrostatics, or designs with a complex impedance curve. Since its current delivery is exceptional, it maintains its grip on the loudspeaker even during the most demanding dynamic peaks.
