The Cambridge Audio L/R S are compact active stereo speakers that deliver a surprisingly expansive sound for their size. Consequently, they work equally well as a primary music system, a desktop upgrade, or a significant improvement over built-in TV audio. Available in six finishes, they bring together warm tonal balance, crisp detail, and confident design in a footprint small enough to fit anywhere.

100 watts of Class D amplification in a two-way design

Each speaker houses a 21mm aluminium dome tweeter with waveguide and a 76mm mid/bass driver, each driven by 25 watts of Class D amplification — 100 watts in total. The frequency response extends from 55Hz to 24kHz, thereby covering the full musical range with authority. DynamEQ furthermore adjusts the high and low frequencies automatically as volume changes, maintaining a natural, balanced sound at every listening level.

Bluetooth aptX HD and versatile wired connectivity

The primary speaker offers Bluetooth with aptX HD for high-resolution wireless streaming. For wired connections, USB-C audio, optical TOSLINK, and analogue RCA inputs are all provided, making the L/R S straightforward to connect to computers, televisions, and dedicated audio sources alike. A subwoofer pre-out is included for those who wish to extend the low end further. Speaker-to-speaker connection uses the supplied 2m high-level signal cable; an optional 5m cable is available for larger spaces or stand mounting.

Placement switches for every environment

Three toggle switches on the rear of the primary speaker allow precise configuration: left or right channel assignment, desktop or free-standing placement, and wall-adjacent or open positioning. Moreover, a Bluetooth LE remote control is included for convenient day-to-day use. The L/R S are available in black, white, blue, orange, green, and walnut — six finishes that complement rather than compromise any interior.
